The inspection and testing performed on an electrical power system and its components prior to initial energization is the most important preventive maintenance that the system will receive during its operational life.

Acceptance testing determines if the equipment was installed properly using the manufacturers’ recommended settings. This comprehensive process identifies and removes defective equipment before it is placed in service. And critically, it establishes the baseline test results that are used throughout the life of the power system.

Whether identifying damaged equipment and wiring errors, or uncovering improperly coordinated or calibrated protective devices, acceptance testing can greatly reduce many of the problems that arise during the initial system start up, especially in the first year of service.

Our team not only has the experience to conduct rigorous acceptance testing, but our engineers can also turn findings into actionable insights.
